Red D Recruitment are hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing for a five-star luxury hotel.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about the hospitality industry, focused on driving revenue, and skilled in brand management. The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee sales, marketing, events, and revenue functions, working to strengthen the hotel’s brand, enhance guest experiences, and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Revenue Manager, and Group Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement strategic business plans, including an annual sales and marketing strategy aligned with hotel objectives.
- Lead the Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Events teams, fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture to achieve individual KPIs, team goals, and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across all segments, secure group bookings, and grow key accounts to achieve revenue objectives.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, tradeshows, and FAM trips, with occasional international travel required.
- Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with hotel goals and financial expectations.
- Work closely with the Group Director of Sales & Marketing to execute brand, advertising, and marketing strategies, including reputation management.
- Provide regular reporting on progress and collaborate with revenue management for accurate forecasting and market strategy adjustments.
- Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to align with current market conditions.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing processes and proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
- Experience collaborating across revenue management, sales, and marketing functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of marketing tools with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Guest-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills, capable of working well within a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior sales position, such as Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Background in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, Revenue, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the luxury hospitality market.
