Red D are recruiting an experienced and visionary Resort General Manager for a luxury resort in Leinster. This exceptional property features extensive leisure facilities, golf course, relaxing spa, and extensive event space.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled hospitality leader with a proven track record in managing luxury resorts or lifestyle hotels to oversee all aspects of this renowned property and drive its continued success.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a strategy to establish the resort as a premier lifestyle destination for both domestic and international markets.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, high-profile guests, and the local community.
  • Represent the property at industry events and forums to enhance its reputation and expand its network.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, including rooms, dining, spa, golf, and events, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
  • Implement efficient systems and processes to enhance consistency, quality, and innovation.
  • Maintain the property to the highest standards, ensuring it reflects the expectations of luxury hospitality.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to consistently exceed expectations.

Business Growth & Financial Management

  • Lead strategic projects such as guestroom expansions and facility upgrades, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
  • Drive revenue growth across all streams, including accommodation, dining, spa services, golf, and events, with a strong focus on profitability.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to attract and retain key customer segments, including luxury travelers and corporate clients.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.

Guest Experience Leadership

  • Foster a guest-focused culture, prioritizing personalization, attention to detail, and seamless service delivery.
  • Engage directly with guests to ensure their experiences are exceptional and memorable.
  • Introduce innovative services and offerings tailored to the lifestyle and luxury market.

Event Management

  • Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, including weddings, corporate retreats, and celebrations.
  • Collaborate with the events team to design unique packages that elevate the property’s reputation as a premier event destination.

 

Key Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in luxury resorts, lifestyle hotels, or similar high-profile properties, with at least 5 years as a General Manager.
  • Proven success in managing multi-revenue stream operations, including F&B, spa, golf, and event spaces.
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market, including guest expectations and industry trends.
  • A strong track record in driving business growth and achieving exceptional financial results.
