Red D are recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a boutique five-star hotel in Munster, Ireland.. This is a key leadership role supporting the General Manager in delivering a seamless, high-standard guest experience across the entire operation.
The role calls for someone with strong Food & Beverage experience, who can lead by example, build and support high-performing teams, and take ownership of day-to-day service delivery. You’ll work closely with all departments to ensure consistent five-star standards are upheld, while also helping manage team development, performance, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support all Food & Beverage operations across the hotel
- Act as second-in-command to the General Manager, ensuring operational excellence daily
- Foster a strong service culture and hands-on leadership presence across the property
- Support and mentor departmental leaders, particularly within F&B
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional service standards
- Take responsibility for handling guest feedback and implementing service improvements
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cost control alongside the GM
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Deputy General Manager or Operations Manager experience in a five-star hotel
- Strong background in Food & Beverage management, ideally across multiple outlets
- Confident, calm and approachable leadership style
- Excellent communication, planning and guest relations skills
- A passion for people, service and Irish hospitality
