Night Manager | Luxury Hotel | Kildare

 

Salary: €40,000 | Wednesday to Sunday

 

Red D are recruiting a Night Manager for a beautiful luxury hotel in Kildare.

This is a hands-on, guest-focused Night Manager role for someone who enjoys being out in the hotel, meeting guests and making sure they are properly looked after throughout the night.

 

As the senior person on site overnight, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel while remaining very much part of the guest experience. You’ll welcome late arrivals, assist with luggage, escort guests to their rooms, respond to requests and make sure the hotel is safe, secure and presented to a high standard throughout the night.

 

Working Wednesday to Sunday, this would suit an experienced Night Manager, Night Supervisor or Duty Manager who is comfortable taking responsibility and equally happy to get involved wherever needed.

The Role

As Night Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel overnight
• Welcoming guests arriving at the hotel and creating an excellent first impression
• Assisting guests with luggage from arrival through to their room
• Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining room features and hotel facilities
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Acting as the main point of contact for guests and team members overnight
• Ensuring the lobby, hotel entrance and porter areas are clean, tidy and well presented
• Keeping luggage trolleys and related equipment clean and in good working order
• Carrying out regular safety and security checks throughout the property
• Maintaining excellent presentation standards across guest and public areas
• Following all hotel safety, security and emergency procedures
• Supporting Front Office and other operational areas where required
• Completing overnight reports and administration accurately
• Providing a clear handover to the morning management team

About You

Red D are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Night Manager, Night Supervisor, Duty Manager or in a similar hotel role
• Is naturally guest focused and enjoys dealing with people
• Is comfortable being visible and hands-on throughout the night
• Is happy assisting guests personally, including with luggage
• Can work independently and confidently take responsibility for the hotel overnight
• Remains calm and practical when dealing with unexpected situations
• Has strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• Understands the importance of hotel safety and security
• Is comfortable with hotel systems, reporting and overnight administration

 

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the independence of night management while still wanting plenty of interaction with guests and involvement across the hotel.

 

Salary: €40,000

Working Week: Wednesday to Sunday
