Restaurant Manager | Luxury Country Estate | Kildare

Salary: €45,000
Working Week: Wednesday to Sunday

Red D are recruiting a Restaurant Manager for a beautiful luxury country estate in Kildare, and this is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone who wants to run a quality restaurant without the usual seven-day hospitality rota.

You’ll work Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday off every week.

The restaurant has a strong food focus, a beautiful setting and the kind of environment where the Restaurant Manager can be genuinely involved in the guest experience. You’ll be out on the floor, leading the team, working closely with the kitchen and making sure every service feels warm, polished and well run.

Red D are looking for someone who loves restaurants and gets real satisfaction from a busy service going well. You don’t need to be overly formal or corporate. You do need to know your food and wine, enjoy looking after people and be a confident, hands-on leader who sets the tone for the team.

With a €45,000 salary, two consecutive days off every week and a high-quality Kildare operation, this is a Restaurant Manager role well worth considering.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day restaurant operation
• Managing service and maintaining consistently high standards
• Leading, supporting and developing the restaurant team
• Creating a warm, professional and engaging experience for guests
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent communication between front and back of house
• Managing rotas, staffing levels and day-to-day labour requirements
• Supporting training and development across the restaurant team
• Maintaining strong knowledge of menus, ingredients and beverages
• Managing reservations and helping to maximise restaurant revenue
• Monitoring costs, stock and operational performance
• Handling guest feedback professionally and positively
• Ensuring food safety, health and safety and operational standards are maintained

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally already be working as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or experienced Food & Beverage Manager within a quality restaurant or hotel environment.

More importantly, you’ll genuinely enjoy hospitality. You’ll understand that excellent restaurant service comes down to having the right people, paying attention to the detail and being present on the floor.

You’ll bring:

• Strong restaurant or food and beverage management experience
• A genuine interest in food, wine and hospitality
• Excellent people management skills
• A warm and confident approach with guests
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to lead busy services calmly and professionally
• Good commercial awareness
• A hands-on management style
