Red D are recruiting a Sales Manager for one of Dublin’s busiest hospitality and events destinations.
This Sales Manager role offers the opportunity to drive corporate, group and MICE business across a hotel, conference facilities, spa, restaurants and bars. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts and delivering revenue targets across a diverse hospitality operation.
This role would suit a Hotel Sales Executive ready to step up or an experienced Sales Manager who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and working across multiple revenue streams.
The successful Sales Manager will manage a portfolio of corporate and MICE accounts while actively identifying new opportunities within the Irish and international markets. You’ll represent the business at industry events, trade shows and client functions, building strong relationships that convert into long-term business.
The Role
The Sales Manager will:
- Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives
- Develop new corporate, group and MICE business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Build strong relationships with corporate buyers, agencies and event planners
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections and familiarisation visits
- Negotiate contracts and secure new business
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and sales missions
- Carry out regular sales calls and client visits
- Maintain accurate records and sales activity through Salesforce
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful delivery of events and bookings
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and month-end updates
- Support award submissions, memberships and promotional activities
- Manage VIP client requests and key stakeholder relationships
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum two years’ experience in a hotel sales role
- Experience working with corporate and MICE clients
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent networking, relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system would be advantageous
- Full clean driving licence and own transport required
- Flexibility to travel within Ireland and overseas when required
