Red D are recruiting an Operations Manager for a new boutique hotel in Dublin city centre, complete with an exciting bar and restaurant. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Rooms and Dining Management: Immediately take charge of the efficient operation of the rooms division, bar, and restaurant, ensuring high standards in guest satisfaction across all areas.
  2. Hotel Operations: Collaborate with various departments to optimize daily operations, from front office to housekeeping and F&B services, ensuring a seamless and delightful guest experience.
  3. Staff Leadership: Quickly lead recruitment, training, and motivation efforts to build a cohesive and high-performing team, covering both accommodation and F&B staff.
  4. Quality Control: Implement and uphold quality assurance standards promptly to enhance service delivery, encompassing rooms, dining, and bar services.
  5. Financial Management: Work urgently with the finance team to monitor budgets, control costs, and identify revenue opportunities across the hotel and dining operations.
  6. Guest Relations: Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, contributing immediately to the positive reputation of the hotel and its dining offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager / Senior Assistant Manager in a hotel environment,
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, reservations, bar, and restaurant service.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with an immediate ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen and immediate experience in budget management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field, an advantage.
