Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate closely with managers to execute the hotel’s rooms strategy, ensuring a seamless and profitable approach.
- Rate Maximisation: Monitor the hotel’s rate strategy, seizing every opportunity to maximise revenue and achieve monthly budget targets, developing new business and revenue streams, and contributing to the growth and success of the hotel.
- Market Intelligence: Utilise market intelligence, commercial analysis, and inventory management to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Commercial Approach: Ensure a commercial approach is applied to revenue generation, assisting in strategy development and decision-making.
- Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze competitor pricing and market changes to lead the market and respond effectively.
- Selling Strategies: Set selling strategies and rates for all market segments, seasons, and channels, optimizing availability and recommending strategy changes.
- Forecasting Excellence: Utilize forecasting tools for guest rooms availability control and pricing, achieving accurate forecasts and recommending necessary changes.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Ensure upselling and cross-selling remain core strategies for maximising revenue across client segments.
- Analytical Insight: Produce weekly forecasts for trend analysis and decision support, delivering accurate reports for management meetings.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain effective working relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proven Achiever: Demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Revenue Management Systems and Hotel Software Systems is essential
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a good level of competence in Microsoft Excel.
- Hotel Insight: Proven experience as a Revenue Manager in the hospitality industry, with solid knowledge of hotel operations, distribution channels, and revenue management principles.
