Red D are recruiting an experienced and passionate hospitality professional eager to take on a key leadership role in one of Ireland’s leading 5-star resort hotels based in Leinster. We are searching for a hands-on Deputy General Manager to oversee operations and elevate guest experiences to new heights.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Operations Oversight:
- Directly manage Food and Beverage Service and Kitchen operations for seamless execution.
- Collaborate closely with the Rooms Division Manager and other operational leaders for integrated success.
Exceptional Guest Experiences:
- Drive outstanding guest satisfaction through flawless food and beverage service experiences.
- Proactively address inquiries and resolve issues with a positive and responsive approach.
- Develop and implement strategies for key food and beverage metrics, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Elevate culinary offerings, beverage selections, and service standards to exceed 5-star expectations.
Team Development and Training:
- Lead the team in maintaining 5-star standards for cleanliness, order, and ambiance.
- Implement rigorous training programs for staff, focusing on service excellence and product knowledge.
Supply Chain Management:
- Partnering with the Executive Head Chef, establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers for high-quality, fresh ingredients.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring cost-effective stock control.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns and special events.
- Enhance in-house and external guest experiences through innovative dining offerings.
- Implement efficient and sustainable operational practices, aligning with environmental and sustainability goals.
- Minimize the resort’s ecological footprint while enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, implementing relevant innovations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols.
- Experience in a senior food and beverage / operations roles, ideally in 4-star luxury / 5-star hotels.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
- Strong leadership and influencing abilities, characterized by a hands-on approach and leading by example.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, coupled with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- Outstanding analytical and strategic skills for improving the business from a financial perspective.
