Key Responsibilities:

As the Head Chef of the Fine Dining Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the valued reputation and ensuring the seamless operation of this kitchen. Your duties will include:

  • Crafting menus and executing dishes to a 5-star luxury standard
  • Motivating and leading the kitchen team with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Developing new recipes from scratch, showcasing your culinary creativity
  • Managing food costs and staffing levels in alignment with company standards
  • Coordinating food ordering and storage, while maintaining close relationships with suppliers
  • Overseeing the HACCP system and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborating with other departments and management to achieve operational excellence
  • Resolving challenges with poise and efficiency, while enforcing company policies

Requirements:

We are seeking a dynamic individual with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience supervising kitchen operations to maximize departmental profit
  • Proficiency in liaising with suppliers and managing inventory
  • Ability to collaborate with the Executive Chef to curate seasonal menus
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP protocols and allergen management
  • Dedication to minimizing waste and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Impeccable personal presentation and a commitment to professional excellence
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and essential kitchen software programs
  • Awareness of popular and emerging food trends in the fine dining market
