The Role:

As Head Chef, you will collaborate with the senior management team to cultivate a guest-centric environment, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service and culinary excellence. Reporting to and deputising for the Executive Head Chef, you will primarily oversee the operations of the fine dining restaurant, presenting a thrilling opportunity for a driven individual to contribute significantly to the company’s success and reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft menus in line with the restaurant’s ethos, utilising seasonal ingredients to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Manage the restaurant pass, ensuring seamless service and adherence to culinary standards.
  • Mentor and develop junior chefs to maintain high standards of excellence.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage payroll within established budgets.

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess dynamic leadership skills, driving innovation and passion in a commercially focused environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, inspiring the team to exceed guest expectations.
  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, revenue forecasts, and cost control.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Head or Sous Chef in a luxury hotel with experience of at least  2 AA Rosette standards or equivalent.
  • Showcase strong people management and leadership capabilities.
