Marketing Manager for Prestigious 5-Star Resort

About the Role:

Red D is seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager to join the team at a renowned 5-star resort, certified as a Great Place to Work. This role values bold ideas and insights, encouraging each team member to feel listened to, appreciated, and inspired.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on marketing strategies for all resort segments including hotel rooms, F&B outlets, golf, spa, and events.
• Design and implement internal and external print brand materials, including artwork, assets, and marketing collateral.
• Oversee the performance and maintenance of the resort website, collaborating with digital marketing and booking engine partners to implement the resort’s digital marketing strategy.
• Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Develop the yearly events calendar alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Manage and coordinate the resort’s marketing budget alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Collaborate with various departments to plan, execute, and report on PR, marketing, and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and costing the marketing and digital marketing budget, and measure results.
• Assist in developing a yearly calendar of resort-owned events such as comedy shows, music performances, and dinner events.
• Implement the PR strategy, including competitions, sponsorships, brand partnerships, and collaborations.
• Develop and execute the yearly marketing calendar.
• Maintain a strong and consistent brand presence across online and offline channels.
• Update and maintain the resort website and third-party sites, ensuring imagery and content are current and aligned with best practices.
• Proactively build marketing plans with key department contacts.
• Coordinate resort content, including photoshoots and video shoots.
• Work with the digital marketing agency to ensure timely implementation of campaigns, complete with all necessary assets.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Team to develop new offers and packages.
• Manage the resort’s email marketing schedule, ensuring fresh and timely content.
• Present weekly and monthly reports on website performance and marketing activities.
• Manage and develop relationships with external suppliers including digital marketing agencies, brand/design agencies, media agencies, copywriters, PR firms, photographers, and videographers.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proven record of delivering effective marketing campaigns and driving commercial and brand performance.
• High levels of personal motivation, confidence, ambition, and proactivity.
• Ability to collaborate successfully with a team and work independently.
• Strong understanding of online and offline marketing.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Photography, video, and content creation skills preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Revinate CRM (or similar email marketing software like MailChimp), and website CMS preferred.
• Third-level Marketing or Business qualification desired.
