Red D are recruiting for an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to join one of Ireland’s most distinctive workplace catering experts. Passionate about great food, exceptional coffee, and creating outstanding guest experiences, this team is dedicated to excellence in hospitality.

The Role

A driven and dynamic individual is needed to oversee conference and banqueting operations, ensuring seamless event execution, team leadership, and top-tier customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple events, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all conference and banqueting operations, ensuring world-class service and efficiency.
  • Act as the main point of contact for guests, managing event logistics and expectations.
  • Lead, train, and supervise both permanent and agency staff, ensuring top-tier performance.
  • Work closely with and deputising for the General Manager.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Ensure all events meet brand and service standards, from setup to breakdown.
  • Implement health & safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Drive innovation in service offerings to enhance the guest experience.

What’s Needed

  • Proven experience in a Conference & Banqueting Manager or Food & Beverage Manager role or similar hospitality leadership position.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent guest relations skills and the ability to handle high-profile events.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of workplace catering and event trends is a plus.

 

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week
  • Mainly Monday – Friday
