Red D are recruiting an Accommodation Manager for a large four-star hotel in Dublin, a property renowned for its exceptional guest experience and high housekeeping standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and is passionate about mentoring and developing a dedicated team.
The Role
The accommodation manager will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. This role requires strong organisational skills, a visible presence on the floor, and the ability to motivate and guide a large housekeeping team while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily accommodation operations, ensuring consistently high standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Managing, scheduling, and mentoring a large housekeeping team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Ensuring that all team members are well-trained, motivated, and delivering exceptional service.
• Handling housekeeping payroll management to optimise efficiency and control costs.
• Maintaining a strong presence on the floor, leading by example and addressing any issues proactively.
• Ensuring all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards are met and exceeded.
• Working closely with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in an accommodation management role within a four-star or five-star property is essential.
• A hands-on leader who is highly visible in the operation and leads from the front.
• Strong experience in team development, scheduling, and training.
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Experience in housekeeping payroll management and cost control.
• A problem-solver with strong communication and leadership skills.
