Red D are recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a luxury hospitality group based in Cork.

This senior leadership role will oversee multi-property financial strategy, risk management and day-to-day operations. Offering an excellent salary, performance bonus, company pension and company discounts, the position includes periodic travel to the group’s other Irish properties.

About the Role
The Group Financial Controller will safeguard revenues and profits, ensure compliance and drive sustainable growth. Working closely with Company Directors, General Managers and senior leadership, you’ll provide both strategic and operational financial leadership, delivering accurate reporting and commercial insight to support key decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
• Oversee monthly accounts, cashflow and performance reporting
• Implement robust finance policies, internal controls and compliance processes
• Analyse liabilities and investments to manage risk and protect assets
• Partner with senior leadership to identify revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies
• Support mergers, acquisitions and capital projects through financial due diligence
• Lead and mentor on-site finance teams across multiple properties

Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant with proven hotel or hospitality finance experience
• Strong leadership record in a multi-property, regional or group-level finance role
• Excellent commercial awareness, analytical ability and forecasting expertise
• Skilled in corporate finance, risk management and strategic decision-making
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at senior level
