Red D are recruiting a Director of Food & Beverage for a well-established four-star hotel in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced F&B professional to oversee all aspects of the hotel’s bar, restaurant, banqueting and room service operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Director of Food & Beverage will lead a talented team and take full ownership of the department’s day-to-day operations, driving service excellence, profitability and team engagement across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve departmental objectives in line with budget, focusing on revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction
• Lead by example in all areas of service, teamwork and professional conduct
• Maintain consistently high standards across all food and beverage outlets
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure prompt, professional service at all times
• Take ownership of guest feedback and resolve issues effectively
• Control costs, including purchasing, maintenance and labour, in line with financial targets
• Work closely with the culinary team to maintain menu quality, creativity and profitability
• Recruit, train and develop a motivated Food & Beverage team aligned with the hotel’s values
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and health and safety standards
• Contribute to the wider management team and assist with Duty Manager shifts as required

The Ideal Candidate
• Previous senior Food & Beverage management experience within a four-star hotel environment
• A strong, hands-on leader with excellent communication and people management skills
• Passionate about food, service and guest experience
• Commercially focused with strong budgeting, forecasting and cost control experience
• Professional, well-presented and confident in managing daily operations and guest interaction
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
