Red D are recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading hotel in Co. Wicklow.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new corporate and MICE business while managing a portfolio of key accounts. This role is central to driving revenue growth across corporate and conference segments and strengthening the hotel’s market position locally and nationally.

The Role

• Identify, develop and convert new Corporate and MICE business opportunities
• Manage and grow an agreed portfolio of key accounts with full responsibility for revenue performance
• Work to structured weekly activity targets including appointments and proactive outreach
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing corporate clients in Ireland and overseas
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis including rate benchmarking and account tracking
• Monitor and track lost or declined business to identify future opportunities
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales trips and industry events
• Host site inspections, corporate hospitality and familiarisation visits
• Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting and sales planning processes

The Candidate

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel sales role
• Strong mix of Corporate and MICE sales experience
• Proven experience managing and developing high-value accounts
• Experience contributing to annual sales budgets and revenue targets
• Full clean driver’s licence and own transport
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Structured, proactive and target-focused approach
• Excellent communication and relationship management capability
