Area Manager – Restaurant Group – Ireland

Red D are recruiting an Area Manager for a growing, high-profile restaurant group expanding across Ireland.

This Area Manager role covers a group of busy, high-volume fresh food, full-service restaurants across Dublin, Belfast and future locations. This is proper restaurant operation. Table service, fresh food, strong teams, and high standards that need to be delivered consistently across multiple sites.

You’ll be leading from the front, working closely with your General Managers, driving performance, and making sure standards stay exactly where they need to be as the business continues to grow.

This isn’t a steady-state role. It’s about expansion. New openings, building teams, putting structure in place, and keeping control as the pace increases.

The Role

As Area Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your region.

You’ll be:

• Leading and developing General Managers across multiple restaurants
• Driving sales, labour control and profitability across your sites
• Keeping food, service and operational standards consistent across every location
• Supporting new openings from site selection through to launch
• Working closely with senior leadership on expansion plans
• Building strong teams and clear succession across your restaurants
• Staying close to the operation, on the floor and in the detail

What You’ll Need

This role needs someone who understands proper restaurant operations, not quick service.

• Current Area Manager or strong Multi-Site General Manager ready to step up
• Background in high-volume, fresh food, full-service restaurant groups
• Proven experience managing multiple P&Ls
• Comfortable with openings and scaling operations
• Hands-on operator who acts quickly and decisively
• Strong with people but clear on standards and accountability
