Overview

Red D are recruiting a Regional Director for a dynamic, full-service restaurant group known for its fresh food, vibrant culture, and ambitious growth across Ireland.

This is a pivotal leadership position — with full responsibility for the performance, people and strategic direction of a portfolio of busy, guest-focused restaurants. The group is renowned for its energy, high standards, and genuinely people-led approach.

As Regional Director, you’ll play a key part in shaping the next phase of expansion — leading from the front, supporting your General Managers, and ensuring each restaurant delivers consistently strong results and exceptional guest experiences.

This opportunity would also suit an established Area Manager ready to step up to full Regional leadership.

The Role

As Regional Director, you’ll take full ownership of your region, combining commercial responsibility with day-to-day operational leadership. You’ll maintain the highest standards of food, service, and culture while driving growth and profitability across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing General Managers to deliver exceptional performance
• Ensuring consistent operational, food and service standards across all restaurants
• Taking accountability for multiple P&Ls and driving sustained profitability
• Overseeing new openings — from site selection to launch and post-opening success
• Working with senior leadership to deliver growth and operational strategy
• Building strong, motivated teams and encouraging a culture of accountability
• Remaining hands-on and visible across the business, supporting leaders on-site

What You’ll Bring

• Current Regional Director, Operations Director, or Area Manager with extensive multi-site experience
• Background in a fresh food, full-service restaurant environment
• Commercial and financial understanding across multiple P&Ls
• Strong operational leadership with an ability to balance detail and strategy
• Hands-on and people-focused approach — decisive, supportive, and responsible
• A passion for hospitality, great food, and team development
