Sales Manager – MICE & Corporate (Hybrid Role)
Job Overview:
Red D are recruiting a highly motivated Sales Manager with a background in hotel sales, specifically within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Corporate sectors.
This London-based hybrid position involves remote and on-site responsibilities, focusing on maximizing revenue through strategic sales initiatives, client management, and effective coordination of bookings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Focus:
- Actively pursue and develop new business opportunities in the MICE and corporate sectors to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Forge and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, and industry associations to enhance exposure and drive revenue growth.
- Plan and execute sales initiatives such as road trips, phone, and video calls to promote hotel facilities.
- Schedule and conduct a designated number of in-person sales meetings each month, both off-site and on-site.
- Ensure optimal use of all hotel facilities to maximize sales potential.
- Oversee client group bookings from initial contact through to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless information transfer to the operations team.
- Collect feedback from clients post-event to continuously improve services.
Secondary Focus:
- Promote hotel products and services to expand the client base.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, and take appropriate action based on this knowledge.
- Acquire detailed knowledge of competitor hotels and their client sources.
- Host promotional events and site visits as needed.
- Attend sales meetings and participate in daily conference calls when working remotely.
- Implement pricing strategies as directed by the Revenue Director.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect records in Salesforce.
- Provide precise booking details to relevant departments and ensure accurate billing information is shared with Finance.
- Propose strategies and actions to achieve departmental goals.
- Manage special projects as assigned by the DOSM.
- Maintain a professional appearance to positively represent the hotel to clients.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
