Red D are recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager for a prestigious luxury destination property in Ireland. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic professional to lead innovative sales and marketing strategies in an iconic setting.

 

About the Role

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role is pivotal in driving revenue across accommodation, weddings, events, dining, and leisure experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, passionate about luxury hospitality, and possesses a proven track record in sales and marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking sales strategy to maximise revenue in key segments, including accommodation, weddings, MICE, and leisure experiences.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, staying ahead of industry trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the estate at sales calls, site inspections, networking events, workshops, and FAM trips.

Marketing & Brand Strategy:

  • Strengthen and maintain brand identity across all marketing platforms and materials.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, photographers, and designers to create compelling promotional content.
  • Oversee the website’s performance, ensuring an optimal user experience and regular content updates.
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, to enhance visibility and increase direct bookings.
  • Work closely with the DOSM on estate-wide marketing strategies and lead ad hoc projects as required.

Revenue & Performance Management:

  • Partner with the Rooms Division Manager and Reservations Team to optimise pricing strategies and maximise occupancy.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to enhance guest experience and refine marketing approaches.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales and marketing role within the luxury hospitality, tourism, or events sector.
  • Third-level qualification or equivalent required.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, and revenue management tools.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for luxury hospitality and crafting meaningful guest experiences.

Salary & Benefits:

 

  • Full-time, permanent position (6-month probation period).
  • Hybrid work model – typically 4 days remote, 1 day on-site (flexibility required based on business needs).
