The Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall running, profitability, and success of the property This hands-on position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The role involves managing all departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and delivering excellent service while achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and implement revenue strategies to maximise profitability.
- Lead, train, and support a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure outstanding guest experiences, responding to feedback and driving service improvements.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase business levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a General Manager or other senior leadership role in the hotel industry.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage financial performance effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for guest service and team development.
- The ability to manage multiple locations, prioritise tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
