Senior General Manager | Workplace Catering & Hospitality

Salary: €65,000 + 10% Bonus

Red D are recruiting a Senior General Manager to lead a high-profile workplace catering and hospitality operation in Dublin.

This is a substantial, hands-on leadership role within an impressive corporate environment that opened just over a year ago. With a busy breakfast and lunch restaurant, extensive hospitality across two floors and an established team of approximately 25 already in place, the Senior General Manager will take full ownership of the day-to-day operation.

Red D are looking for a strong food and hospitality operator who notices the detail, enjoys developing people and knows how to build an excellent relationship with a corporate client.

You’ll have the support of an Operations Manager while having the autonomy to lead the site, develop the team and take responsibility for service standards, client relationships and financial performance.

The Role

As Senior General Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the full workplace catering and hospitality operation
• Managing, supporting and developing an established team of approximately 25
• Overseeing a busy breakfast and lunch restaurant
• Ensuring consistently high standards across hospitality and food service
• Developing the team and creating clear standards and accountability
• Building a strong, professional relationship with the client
• Managing budgets, labour costs and overall financial performance
• Working closely with the culinary team to maintain food quality and consistency
• Ensuring service delivery is organised, polished and consistent
• Maintaining excellent attention to detail across the entire operation
• Reviewing customer and client feedback and acting on opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health and safety and hygiene requirements
• Working closely with the Operations Manager on the continued development of the site

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for an experienced General Manager, Senior General Manager or senior hospitality professional with:

• Strong food and hospitality management experience
• Workplace or contract catering experience ideally
• Experience leading and developing a sizeable team
• Excellent attention to detail and high service standards
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience managing budgets, labour costs and financial performance
• A genuine interest in coaching and developing people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A visible, hands-on management style
• The confidence to take ownership and make decisions

Salary & Package
