Red D are recruiting a Spa Manager for a beautiful boutique spa in Kildare, offering the opportunity to take real ownership of a smaller, quality-focused spa where the guest experience is personal and the Spa Manager is very much part of the operation.

If you’re an experienced Spa Manager or an Assistant Spa Manager ready to take the next step, this is a chance to lead your own spa, develop a team and have a real influence on how the operation runs.

This is very much a hands-on Spa Manager role. You’ll lead from the floor, support your team, build relationships with guests and continue to carry out treatments as part of your weekly schedule.

With the spa open Wednesday to Sunday, this could be a great move for someone who wants the responsibility of running a boutique spa while staying close to guests and the treatment side of the business.

The Role

As Spa Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the spa, including:

• Leading, supporting and motivating the spa team
• Carrying out spa and beauty treatments as part of the weekly schedule
• Being visible and hands-on throughout the operation
• Creating a warm, personal and professional experience for every guest
• Maintaining consistently high treatment and service standards
• Managing appointments, bookings and treatment room utilisation
• Preparing rotas and managing staffing levels
• Driving treatment and retail sales
• Monitoring stock, ordering products and managing stock control
• Maintaining excellent presentation throughout the spa
• Managing guest feedback and resolving any issues professionally
• Supporting recruitment, induction, training and development of the team
• Ensuring health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures are followed
• Working with the wider management team to develop the spa offering and grow the business

About You

This role will suit someone who enjoys the combination of management, treatments and guest interaction.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous management or supervisory experience within a quality spa
• A recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification
• Strong hands-on treatment experience
• Confidence carrying out a range of spa and beauty treatments
• A warm, approachable management style
• The ability to motivate, support and develop a small team
• Excellent guest service skills
• Strong knowledge of spa products and retail
• Good commercial awareness, including sales, stock and cost control
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The confidence to take ownership of the day-to-day operation
• Flexibility to work across the spa’s Wednesday to Sunday opening week
