Role Overview: As Financial Controller, you will lead and manage the provision of accurate, timely, and objective financial data, empowering informed management decisions. Working closely with the Senior Team, Directors, and Owners, you will safeguard and enhance the company’s assets, ensuring financial stability and growth.

This role is a hybrid role with the ability to work from home up to two days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve finance objectives and meet deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate weekly financial reports, including payroll stats and revenue forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and timely submission of audit books, VAT returns, payroll taxes, etc.
• Manage day-to-day finance operations, including revenue recording, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance with statutory regulations.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with:

• 2-3 years of proven accounting experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
• Experience leading a finance/accounting team.
• Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Sage Payroll Professional, QuickBooks).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
