Your Mission:

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, your primary objective is to collaborate closely with our General Manager to craft a strategic roadmap for success. You’ll dive into the intricacies of the business, with a special focus on room bookings and conference and banqueting sales. Your creativity and strategic thinking will be instrumental in driving revenue and profitability, all while delivering unparalleled service to guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute innovative sales plans in coordination with the Group Sales Team.
• Craft compelling marketing strategies to elevate conference and banqueting offerings.
• Forge and nurture valuable relationships with clients, tour operators, and travel agents.
• Take the lead in managing revenue yield, ensuring the budgeted targets are met and exceeded.
• Build and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Spearhead public relations initiatives, showcasing the best of what the hotel has to offer.
• Oversee advertising budgets and ensure maximum ROI.
• Lead by example in all aspects of sales operations, from quality standards to sales calls.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows and events, both domestically and internationally.
• Cultivate collaboration across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

About You:

• You’re a seasoned Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager, with a proven track record in 4 or 5-star properties.
• Your dedication to exceptional customer service is second to none.
• Experience with Opera is a must, showcasing your proficiency in hotel management software.
• You thrive in a team environment and inspire others to excel.
• Attention to detail is your middle name – nothing escapes your keen eye.
• Your communication skills are exceptional, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
• A background in Sales & Marketing education is advantageous, but your passion and experience speak volumes.
• Fluent English is essential, opening the door to seamless communication with our diverse clientele.
