Red D are recruiting a talented Sous Chef for a beautiful fine-dining restaurant in costal Co. Clare.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you’ll find yourself in a well-established kitchen equipped with excellent resources. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes food, values provenance and embraces seasonality. Your role will involve assisting in the planning, preparing, and delivering Michelin Star-level cuisine, adhering to the standards and plating guide specifications of the Executive Chef.

This role is ideal for a passionate and hardworking individual who possesses a deep love for food and a knack for working with people. A background in luxury dining, preferably within Michelin-rated establishments, or 2AA+ restaurants.

Key requirements include:

  • Exceptional culinary ability with a unique creative flair and style
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, to support a large kitchen team
  • A deep understanding of service, high-quality cooking, and premium ingredients
  • Outstanding training, development, and coaching skills
  • A relentless commitment to maintaining high standards
