Red D are recruiting an experienced Bar Manager for a beautiful 5 Star Luxury Hotel, in Co. Kerry.

The  Bar Manager will lead the team and take charge of elevating service standards, driving beverage sales, and nurturing a culture of excellence in one of Ireland’s most luxurious destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations in food & beverage outlets, ensuring impeccable service and hygiene standards
• Manage the beverage sales budget, excluding wine, with a focus on maximizing profitability
• Lead staff induction and ongoing training initiatives, fostering a team of knowledgeable and skilled associates
• Take charge of stock management, including purchasing, maintenance, and regular stocktaking
• Uphold and enhance the hotel’s culture through exemplary leadership and continuous improvement efforts
• Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and innovative promotional initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hospitality setting
• Proven track record with 3-5 years of bar managerial experience
• Expertise in cocktails and mixology, with a passion for delivering exceptional beverage experiences
• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated through successful management of food & beverage teams
• Proficient in IT, including MS Office and Excel, with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage environment is essential
