Reservations Manager – 4* Hotel Westmeath

Red D are recruiting a Reservations Manager for a well-known 4 Star hotel in Co. Westmeath

As the Reservations Manager, you’ll orchestrate the entire reservations process, ensuring seamless coordination to elevate guest experiences and optimize revenue streams. Your keen eye for detail and strategic prowess will be instrumental in analysing business trends, forecasting future demands, and implementing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Reservations process for this large Four-Star hotel
• To be aware and analyse all forthcoming business regularly, being aware of future business requirements and making plans accordingly
• Analyse overall Weekly / Monthly / Yearly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
• Responsible for assessing new inquiries, preparing quotes and formal proposals, and/or agreeing on rates to be quoted by individuals within the Hotel and the Venue
• To liaise with the sales department regarding potential new business leads and to ensure that negotiated client agreements are delivered
• Ensure the website booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional,
• Accurately inputting & maintaining all reservations in the system
• Ensure all staff are aware of hotel promotions or special activities
• To monitor that guest charges are being attributed and settled correctly
• Providing motivation and feedback to the reception team.
• Liaising and communicating with other departments
