Red D are recruiting a Purchasing Manager for a leading 5 Star luxury hotel in Dublin.

The company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to oversee and manage the procurement of goods and services. This role is vital for maintaining quality, budget control, and inventory management across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate purchasing operations, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of items, managing an approved vendor list.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain quality and profitability in food and beverage procurement.
• Manage inventory levels, implement rotation practices, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Handle invoice verification, cost control, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on inventory, costs, and other key metrics.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient delivery and quality control.
• Support finance goals and implement safety and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong accounting and financial acumen.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in procurement or a similar role, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
