Red D have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller at a 4-star hotel in County Wicklow.

The Role:

The Financial Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, financial reporting, and more. This role is integral to the senior team at the hotel and will lead a small team within the Finance Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations within the hotel.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and procedures.
  • Lead and develop a small team in the Finance Office.
  • Collaborate with other senior team members to support overall hotel operations and strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience: Demonstrable accounting experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and management skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Ambitious, confident, and professional demeanour.
