About the Role:
Red D Recruitment is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic MICE Sales Manager to join a leading conference and events venues. This role is perfect for an ambitious individual with a passion for driving growth and exceeding revenue targets through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
Job Purpose:
As MICE Sales Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing functions for prestigious conference venues and members clubs, as well a large restaurant and associated food outlets. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to surpass revenue targets and foster growth.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and deliver a comprehensive B2C sales and marketing strategy for conference and food retail outlets.
- Proactive Marketing: Implement proactive marketing and sales tactics in collaboration with the sales team and Head of Operations.
- Digital Marketing: Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy, ensuring an effective online presence across all channels.
- Proposal Creation: Create high-quality proposals for corporate, private, and social clients.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all marketing and sales materials align with the overall sales strategy.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Event Management: Oversee and manage invoicing and payment for events, ensuring smooth execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support the onsite sales team, providing guidance and fostering development.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Proposals: Design compelling sales proposals that effectively tell the venue’s story.
- Client Interaction: Handle all enquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner, ensuring prompt and accurate administration and correspondence.
- Lead Management: Follow up on all sales leads promptly, aiming to convert them into confirmed bookings and repeat business.
- Event Coordination: Manage event details from enquiry to confirmation, ensuring all relevant information is collected and event sheets are completed in a timely manner.
- Customer Care: Consistently exceed customer expectations, providing excellent customer care and support during events.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Development: Take responsibility for personal growth, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge of industry trends in food service, leadership, and management practices.
- Training and Meetings: Attend training courses and meetings as necessary.:
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience building a pipeline of new business
- Experience managing a marketing budget and plan with an emphasis on online strategies
- Experience in a proactive sales and marketing role within an events/venue company / leading hotel
Information Security:
- Ensure compliance with information security procedures
- Proactively identify and report security risks
- Report actual and suspected security incidents

- Report deficiencies in systems or equipment
- Use work equipment and PPE properly
- Report training needs to the Line Manager
