Job Overview:

Red D are recruiting an exceptional Guest Relations Manager for five-star luxury hotel in Cork. This role requires a dedicated hospitality professional passionate about delivering unparalleled guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guest relations within the luxury hotel sector, demonstrating outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs. This role is central to maintaining the high standards of service that guests expect and deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing personalized service and anticipating guests’ needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for VIP guests, handling their inquiries and requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Oversee the guest feedback process, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to guest comments and complaints.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with regular and returning guests, ensuring their preferences and expectations are consistently met.
  • Lead and train the guest relations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
  • Organize and oversee special events and occasions for guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and activities to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Handle guest complaints and conflicts with professionalism and empathy, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a guest relations role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • A warm, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for hospitality.
