Red D are recruiting a Cluster Revenue Manager for hotels in Donegal and Belfast.
Position Summary:
The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the revenue strategy the properties. This role involves working closely with the Group Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as hotel-specific sales, marketing, reservations, and revenue teams, to optimise revenue streams and achieve key performance targets. The successful candidate will employ strategic pricing, market analysis, and distribution strategies to maximise profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee revenue management operations for assigned hotels and provide strategic support to other properties within the portfolio.
- Conduct daily pick-up analysis, review market trends, and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Perform competitive benchmarking and analyse market conditions to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop pricing strategies tailored to the unique positioning of each property.
- Provide weekly forecasts and analyse variances against budgeted expectations.
- Manage and oversee strategies for third-party distribution channels in coordination with hotel teams.
- Evaluate group business opportunities and develop pricing strategies accordingly.
- Analyse monthly hotel performance reports and provide actionable insights for long-term revenue growth.
- Ensure the proper configuration and optimal functionality of all revenue management systems.
- Support hotel teams in maintaining operational standards for the reservations department.
- Ensure booking engines are up-to-date and fully functional for each property.
- Collaborate with individual hotel operations, sales, marketing, and reservations departments to align revenue strategies.
- Assist in the monthly forecasting process and contribute to the annual budgeting cycle.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and booking engine functionalities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and numerical data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under deadlines and proactively adapt to changing market conditions.
- Flexible approach to work schedules when required.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A combination of relevant education, training, and experience in revenue management.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a revenue management role.
- Experience within the 4- or 5-star hospitality industry.
Location:
This role can be based in Donegal or Belfast and will require some travel
