Red D are recruiting a talented and driven Conference Manager to join a prestigious resort hotel in Co. Kildare. This outstanding opportunity offers the chance to oversee and elevate the delivery of exceptional conferences and events in a dynamic and professional setting. The position primarily involves daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
Objective of the Role:
Ensure the seamless execution of all conferences and meetings, providing outstanding service and an exceptional guest experience.
Main Duties:
- Ensure guests receive top-quality service during conferences and meetings.
- Oversee department scheduling and ensure effective team rostering.
- Engage with guests and act upon feedback, encouraging positive customer reviews.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring the team is fully trained.
- Deliver comprehensive team training on service excellence and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on departmental initiatives and projects.
- Foster a motivating and engaging work environment for the team.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and a willingness to share insights.
- Guide and mentor team members to support their ongoing development.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering excellence.
- Flexible with working hours and ideally has own transport.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
