Red D are recruiting a highly organised and seasoned Reservations Manager for a 4-star hotel located in North Dublin. It is a wonderful opportunity for a hospitality professional to join a successful and highly regarded property with a reputation for a warm welcome and high standards.

As Reservations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the reservations team, delivering a seamless bookings experience to individual and group clients. You will coordinate with the revenue and sales teams to generate room revenue, manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service.

Main duties include:

  • Responsible for leading the reservations team for effective management of all inquiries
  • To manage room availability, rate plans, and trends in bookings for revenue maximization
  • Collaborating with revenue and sales organizations on yield and forecasting strategies
  • Preparation of routine reports and analysis for business planning
  • Following procedures as per brand standards for a consistent customer experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous front office manager or equivalent reservations position experience at a 4-star hotel environment
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability for motivating and managing a small team
  • An understanding of revenue management and distribution channels (there is a Revenue Manager in place, so you don’t need to be an expert)
  • Experience with Opera Cloud or Opera
