About the Role:
As Revenue Manager, you’ll oversee the hotel’s pricing, inventory, and market positioning strategies. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams, you’ll ensure that revenue streams are optimised to achieve business goals. Your focus will be on data-driven decisions, forecasting, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimise revenue across all room types and services
- Forecast demand, occupancy, and revenue to support budgeting and financial targets
- Analyse booking patterns, market trends, and competitor activity to inform revenue decisions
- Manage inventory distribution across OTAs, direct bookings, and corporate accounts
- Oversee overbooking strategies to maximise occupancy while safeguarding guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to design promotions and packages that drive occupancy and ADR
- Prepare and present revenue performance reports (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy) to senior management
- Stay up to date with market dynamics, local events, and trends that influence demand
- Utilise RMS, PMS, and business intelligence tools to track and improve performance
- Align with Operations and Front Office teams to ensure cohesive pricing, inventory, and guest service strategies
Experience & Skills Required:
- 2-5 years’ experience in revenue management, pricing, or similar roles within the hospitality sector
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proficient in revenue management systems (e.g. Delphi, STR, RMS)
- Familiarity with OTAs and booking platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
