Red D are recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a stylish, well-loved property in Cork with a strong local following and a reputation for relaxed, high-quality service.

Working closely with the General Manager, this is a hands-on, senior role with real scope. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operation, leading a close-knit team, and ensuring the smooth delivery of both service and standards. The property includes an all-day restaurant and bar, so strong Food & Beverage experience is key.
The ideal candidate will be people-focused and comfortable managing a team in a fast-moving, service-led environment. You’ll be calm, confident, and have a sharp eye for detail—able to lead from the floor, jump in when needed, and support your team to deliver memorable experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations across all departments, with a focus on F&B
• Supporting the GM with planning, service strategy, and team development
• Managing staffing, rotas, training and performance
• Handling guest feedback and ensuring service consistency
• Working closely with the kitchen and restaurant management teams
• Monitoring quality, costs, and operational standards
