Red D are recruiting an Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager for a leading five-star international hotel in Dublin.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Ireland’s most iconic hotels in a senior food and beverage management role. The Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager will work closely with the Banqueting Operations Manager and Director of Food & Beverage to oversee the smooth delivery of large-scale events, meetings and banquets, while ensuring exceptional guest service at all times.
What’s involved:
- Acting as Food & Beverage Manager on Duty, providing visible leadership on the floor
- Overseeing daily operations across conference and banqueting outlets
- Supporting all outlets during service to ensure standards are consistently met
- Managing and mentoring food and beverage teams, supporting training and development
- Assisting with budgeting, cost control, payroll management and financial reporting
- Maintaining strong compliance with all operating policies and brand standards
- Handling guest feedback to ensure excellent satisfaction levels
- Supporting recruitment, rostering, and staff development
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a large five-star hotel or similar high-volume luxury food and beverage operation
- Proven leadership ability in conference, banqueting or event operations
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Flexible, guest-focused approach with a passion for high standards
- Relevant hospitality management qualification
