Red D are recruiting a Front of House Manager for a busy, design-led hospitality property in the heart of Dublin City. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee front office operations, create exceptional guest experiences, and lead a motivated team in a vibrant, fast-paced setting.
About the Role
As Front of House Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the reception and lobby, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless arrival and departure. You’ll work closely with senior management and other departments to maintain high service standards, drive ancillary sales, and optimise revenue through effective room and bed allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the front of house team, providing training, coaching and daily briefings
- Oversee check-in/out, reservations, guest queries and all reception functions
- Monitor occupancy, revenue and front office KPIs, ensuring budgets and targets are met
- Maximise upselling opportunities and ancillary sales such as tours and café products
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security requirements
- Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere that leaves lasting impressions on guests
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a front office management or senior supervisory role
- Strong commercial and revenue management skills
- In-depth knowledge of Dublin’s hospitality market and competitor landscape
- Proficiency with hotel PMS and channel managers (MEWS experience an advantage)
- Excellent communication and guest service skills, with a natural flair for leadership
