Red D are recruiting an Operations Manager for a successful and growing group of cafés in Dublin. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced multi-site hospitality professional with strong leadership, commercial, and people management skills.

As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee several high-volume café and retail-style venues, ensuring consistent quality, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experience across all locations. You’ll work closely with each General Manager to drive performance, maintain brand standards, and identify new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop café managers and their teams across multiple Dublin locations
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service, quality standards, and compliance
• Analyse financial performance, control costs, and implement initiatives to improve profitability
• Manage budgets, rosters, stock control, and supplier relationships
• Champion a positive, people-focused culture that promotes retention and development
• Support business expansion and help onboard new venues or concepts

Must Haves

• Background: Multi-site café, quick-serve restaurant, or bakery-café experience
• Throughput & speed: Proven ability to optimise workflows and reduce queue times during peak periods
• People operations: Builds and develops supervisor and assistant manager teams; manages rotas and performance to standard
• Tools: Experienced with POS reporting, scheduling software, and Excel; produces and analyses weekly KPI dashboards
• Style: Decisive, hands-on, and floor-present with a sleeves-rolled-up approach

• Experienced multi-site operator from café, casual dining, or retail hospitality background
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire teams
• Strong commercial awareness with hands-on operational experience
