Red D are recruiting an experienced Accommodation Manager for a leading four-star hotel in the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead a well-established accommodation team in a quality-focused hotel. The successful candidate will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest care across bedrooms and public areas.
This role requires a hands-on manager with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to drive service standards in a busy hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across all guest rooms and public areas.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring accurate room status updates are communicated to Front Office.
- Liaise with the Maintenance Team to ensure all issues are promptly addressed.
- Respond to guest requests quickly and professionally.
- Keep all storage areas, trolleys, and offices organised and secure.
- Inspect rooms to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Enforce lost property policies and procedures.
- Conduct inventories and manage stock control of linen and cleaning supplies.
- Order and receive housekeeping stock to maintain adequate levels.
- Oversee cleanliness and presentation of public areas and reception.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous leadership experience in a quality-focused 4-star hotel.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proven record of maintaining and improving housekeeping standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to exceptional guest care.
