Red D are recruiting a Financial Controller for a leading hotel in Kilkenny. This is a great opportunity to take charge of the full finance function in a busy, well-established property. It suits an experienced Financial Controller with hotel experience or a strong Assistant Financial Controller who’s ready to step up. The company has a solid reputation, though you’ll still need to be comfortable with the usual month-end pressure and operational demands that come with hotel finance.

About the Role
As Financial Controller, you’ll lead all financial operations and ensure the hotel has the clarity and data it needs for sound decision-making. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to maintain financial stability and support improved performance. You’ll be the key point of truth for the numbers, so accuracy, organisation and confidence are essential.

Key Responsibilities
– Manage all hotel accounting and financial controls, including oversight of purchasing
– Deliver accurate and timely financial data, reports, forecasts and budget analysis
– Work with the General Manager to align financial planning with operational goals
– Analyse financial trends and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency
– Ensure full compliance with company policies, financial standards and audit requirements
