Red D are recruiting for a Human Resource Manager / Head of People for a beautiful resort hotel in Leinster.
This exciting role will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function, with a particular emphasis on employee brand & culture strategy, learning & development, employee engagement, employee retention and compliance.
We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader who is passionate about creating a positive work culture, driving engagement and supporting the professional growth of team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving skills and a collaborative approach, coupled with the ability to think critically and deliver impactful HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and provide direction for the human resource function, overseeing the development and delivery of the hotel’s people strategy.
Manage the HR team to provide professional HR support and advice to all departments.
Review and implement HR policies and strategies to ensure successful recruitment, retention and development of a skilled and motivated workforce.
Collaborate with department heads (HODs) to ensure HR policies and strategies are integrated across the business.
Provide hands on support to managers and employees, offering guidance and leadership where needed.
Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity and high performance in line with the hotel’s values and mission.
Contribute to the senior management team on key areas such as employee branding, culture, learning strategy development and employee retention.
Key Requirements
At least 3 years experience in a HR management role.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities.
A hands on, proactive and can do attitude, always leading by example.
