Red D are recruiting a MICE Sales Manager for one of Dublin’s leading five star hotels. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who understands the Irish corporate and conference market and wants to take ownership of the domestic MICE segment.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the MICE Sales Manager will focus on driving meetings, incentives, conferences and events business from Irish corporate clients, associations, institutions and agency partners. You’ll be the market expert, the relationship builder and the person who grows and converts high-value business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the development and delivery of the domestic MICE sales strategy and activity plan
• Identify, target and convert new meetings and events business across the Irish corporate and institutional sectors
• Manage your own portfolio of local corporate accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners to meet MICE revenue goals
• Maintain and develop the MICE and Corporate Conference database
• Assist in delivering the annual MICE sales plan
• Work with the Revenue team to secure corporate group business through prompt enquiry management, proposal follow-up and site inspections
• Use systems such as Cvent, Delphi and internal tools to identify and convert opportunities
• Represent the hotel at networking events, seminars and business gatherings
• Generate new leads through daily media review, online forums and competitor activity
• Conduct telesales to re-engage past and lapsed MICE clients
• Complete regular competitor SWOT analysis and provide insights to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need at least two years’ experience in a similar sales role within a four or five star hotel, along with:

• Full clean driver’s licence and own transport
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused and standards-driven approach
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
• Confidence setting and managing annual sales budgets
