Operations Manager – Luxury Hotel – 1305895
Red D
Red D are recruiting an Operations Manager for a luxury hotel in Co. Kildare, working closely with a highly respected and genuinely excellent General Manager.
This is a senior, high-impact role in a hotel that’s busy year-round and known for its great food, strong events business and consistently high service standards. With a popular bar and restaurant and event spaces hosting everything from board meetings to large wedding celebrations, the operation is varied, fast-paced and rewarding.
As Operations Manager, you’ll be central to the hotel’s day-to-day success. You’ll support the General Manager across all departments, ensuring standards are maintained, teams are supported and the operation runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible, involved and trusted to lead.
You’ll oversee food & beverage, front office, housekeeping and maintenance, balancing guest experience with commercial awareness. You’ll also play a key role in planning, budgeting, cost control and resource management, working closely with the General Manager to keep the business efficient and performing well.
Hotel experience is essential. This role will not suit someone coming from standalone restaurants or single-site venues. We’re looking for an Operations Manager who understands how a full-service hotel operates, both on the floor and behind the scenes.
The ideal Operations Manager will have
- At least 3–4 years’ senior operations experience within a hotel
- Strong exposure to food & beverage, front office and events
- A calm, confident leadership style with a genuine interest in developing teams
- Clear communication skills and a strong focus on guest experience
- Solid experience with budgets, wage controls, planning and KPIs
What’s on offer
- Excellent salary
- Bonus
- On-site parking
- The opportunity to work alongside a first-class General Manager in a well-run hotel
Note:
This is an on-site role in Co. Kildare and will involve early, late and weekend shifts.
We can only consider candidates with full, unrestricted permission to live and work in the EU. UK passport holders are also welcome to apply.
