Red D are recruiting a Restaurant General Manager for one of Dublin city’s most stylish and well-loved restaurants.

This is not fine dining. It’s a busy, social restaurant with serious atmosphere, beautiful design and an owner who is passionate about quality produce and great wine, without any of the formality.

This Restaurant General Manager role is for someone who knows how to run a high-volume restaurant that feels relaxed, confident and effortless for customers. You’ll be hands-on, visible on the floor, strong with people and completely comfortable managing the commercial side of the business.

The role

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day operation of a busy, stylish restaurant
• Set the tone on the floor and drive energy, warmth and consistency
• Build strong relationships with customers and regulars
• Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team through clear communication
• Manage rosters, labour control and payroll
• Understand and control sales, margins and costs
• Work closely with the owner and kitchen to protect the identity and reputation of the restaurant

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager in a busy restaurant
• Comfortable in high-volume service environments
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence with figures
• A natural leader and clear communicator
• Genuine enthusiasm for food, produce and wine without fine dining formality
• Someone who enjoys pace, pressure and responsibility
