Red D are recruiting a Revenue Manager for a large, busy four-star hotel in Dublin. This is a high-impact commercial role for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, shaping pricing strategy and influencing senior decision-making.
You’ll sit at the heart of the hotel’s commercial performance, working closely with the General Manager and Sales and Marketing teams to drive revenue, profitability and market share in a competitive Dublin market.
The Role
As Revenue Manager, you will take full responsibility for pricing, forecasting and distribution strategy across the hotel. This is a hands-on role where analysis turns into action. You’ll challenge performance, spot opportunities early and ensure the hotel stays ahead of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing and yield strategies across rooms, food and beverage and ancillary revenue
- Analyse demand, pace, pickup and booking patterns to maximise revenue opportunities
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends within the Dublin hotel market
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts, revenue reports and performance updates
- Lead revenue meetings and contribute directly to commercial strategy
- Manage inventory, rate loading and distribution across direct, OTA and GDS channels
- Maintain strong relationships with OTA market managers and protect rate parity
- Support sales and marketing activity through promotions, packages and tactical offers
- Train and support reservations and front office teams on revenue best practice
- Oversee and validate system setup across RMS, PMS and CRS platforms
About You
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in hotel revenue management or a senior reservations role
- Strong analytical ability with excellent Excel skills
- Experience using hotel systems such as HotSoft, SiteMinder, NetAffinity or similar
- Commercially sharp, organised and confident making pricing decisions
- Comfortable working closely with senior management and challenging assumptions
- Knowledge of the Dublin hotel market is a strong advantage
