This is a senior operational leadership role within a well-established, high-end city hotel recognised for delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences across accommodation, food and beverage, meetings and events.

This role will suit a commercially minded Hotel Manager who leads from the floor, understands the standards expected at five star level and brings strong operational and financial discipline.

The Role

As Hotel Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring service excellence, operational consistency and strong financial performance across all departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing teams across all operational departments
  • Acting as a visible presence throughout the hotel, setting the tone for five star service
  • Overseeing daily hotel operations with a strong focus on food and beverage and events
  • Managing financial performance including budgeting, wage control, forecasting and cost management
  • Working closely with department heads to drive service quality and profitability
  • Creating a guest-focused culture where personalised service is a priority
  • Managing guest feedback and resolving issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and all legal requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standards and commercial performance
