Red D are recruiting a Front of House Manager for a small, intimate property in Dublin.

This is a rare Front of House Manager opportunity for someone who genuinely loves hospitality but values discretion, standards and quality of life. The role is mainly Monday to Friday with daytime shifts, working with a close-knit, long-standing team in a calm, well-run environment. Occasional weekend work will be required, but this is not a late-night or high-turnover operation.

The Front of House Manager will be highly organised, polished and emotionally intelligent, with a natural ability to oversee front of house activity quietly and professionally. This role is about people, standards, systems and smooth day-to-day operation rather than leading service.

The Role

As Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day-to-day front of house operation in a small, quality-focused environment
• Ensuring a consistently warm, professional and personal experience throughout the property
• Coordinating front of house activity and supporting the team across daily operations
• Managing reservations, systems and administrative detail with accuracy and care
• Acting as a calm, polished and discreet point of contact for visitors and colleagues
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, organisation and professionalism
• Working closely with ownership and senior management to ensure everything runs smoothly

The Person

This Front of House Manager role will suit someone who:

• Has experience as a Front of House Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Head Receptionist or Front Office Manager
• Is highly organised and confident using systems and IT
• Has strong emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
• Brings a warm, outgoing and polished presence to their work
• Understands discretion, trust and privacy as core to great hospitality
• Enjoys working within a small team where standards matter
• Loves hospitality for the relationships and environment, not the spotlight
• Approaches work proactively with energy and positivity
